I want to dye my canvas outdoor umbrella. How do I avoid shrinkage so it will go back on the wood frame?
I have a faded canvas umbrella cover. I purchased a dye but am afraid that after I dye it and it dries, it will shrink and not go back on the wooden frame. Can anyone tell me whether it will shrink and if so, how do I best avoid having it shrink? Thank you.
Use cold water and dry it out of the sun. Putting it on the frame while still damp will help too.
