What would be the perfect color for my room?
i was thinking of painting my room a calm and relaxing color, preferably lavender?
but i’m not sure if it would pair up with my ochre brown computer desk, dark walnut colored wardrobe, earth yellowed floorboard and white + green bedding.
any advice/help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
I think the lavender color would not look so hot with the other colors you are describing. I would try to go with a lighter brown (my walls are Iced chocolate with a sage accent wall with a light yellow trim and doors) or a green that is a shade or two lighter than your bedding. Light brown, lighter green, and earth yellow could look really pretty if you get the right combination. Try getting a few paint chip samples and playing around with them to see what works best for your rooms color scheme, yet creates that relaxing feel you are striving for. Personally I brought one of my decorative pillows with me to the paint store. I found it to be a lot easier that way. Good luck!
