I just bought a fabulous antique walnut dresser…it smells terrible..how do I get the bad odor out?
This dresser must’ve been in someone’s musty basement for years & the smell is really rank….what can I do???
Clean the insides with Murphy’s Oil Soap, and let air dry throughly.
Place chacoal and baking soda on newspaper and put in the drawers for a few days. You may want to purchase some cedar chips to use after removing the charcoal & soda.
Remember to clean the outside and bottoms of the drawers with the oil soap, and the back of the dresser as well.
