Some cash drawer can operate independent of POS software this means you can connect a cash drawer to USB or serial port of your computer without having POS software. Best is to check with your POS vendor before you make a decision. It should have more than enough bill and coin slots and trays and the access to them should be easy. You can buy smaller or larger cash drawers and you should choose the model that suits your already existing POS terminal, if you are buying the terminal and the cash drawer separately.
