i have walnut cabinets on kitchen but want to remodel without having to change cabinets?
maybe changing the doors and adding a crown on top and repaint with stain and clear to match the doors by repainting both the cabinets and doors. is it possible and if so how. they told me to sand them down. but with what??
You need to sand off any polyurethane coating and use a good primer to keep the paint from peeling off. New hardware can breathe new life into old cabinets also. New counter tops and an updated paint color on the walls and new flooring will take the focus off the cabinets as well. There are lots of ways to work around old cabinets.
