Has anyone heard of a snorkeling anti-litter or water clean up group or event?
I try to snorkel in a local river but am horrified at the broken beer bottle glass and aluminum cans on the river floor that I spend at least an hour with a mesh bag picking up this stuff under water. The water in many places is shallow enough for children and adults to play and stand. I know there are others who enjoy the underwater environment as much as I do and feel the same way.
