Is there a quick way to remove all the tabs from a very large table in OpenOffice?
I just want the plain text.
From with the table, up to Table on the menu bar again, down to convert and across to table to text. Make sure that the tab box is selected and press OK. You will find however because you originally used a table format which was broken up by tabs you might need to play around with the formatting to make it look better. However, rather than converting, why don’t you just remove the borders then you are using the table format just for convenience in setting out your data, but it doesn’t look like a table. To do this is easy, when in the table, your table toolbar is displayed, click on the downward arrow to the side of the borders icon and then choose the first icon – no borders.
