What kind of furniture is this? It’s to short to be table but looks like one?
I have what has always been referred to as a “table” that a relative brought back from Vietnam. It turns out that when I put it together it’s to short to be a table…but it has the same shape and dimensions of a table, just shrunken down. The top would come to about the thigh or hip. I’m not missing any pecies…so what the heck is this?
no I mean it’s HUGE but short. It’s like a massive dining room table, except it’s short.
In many asian countries they like to sit on the floor for their dining so this could very well be a dining table. Whatever it is or was your purpose has to be re-purposed. I would use it as a nice accent table along a wall or put cushions on it for a seat. If you had a large great room, what a great cocktail table it would make with space to put ottomans underneath. It could serve as a nice piece to feature a wall mounted flat screen over. So whatever it was it is no more.
