I Wanted Some New Furniture For Christmas, So I Asked for a Nice Swivel Chair
We had redone almost every room in our home except for the home office. My husband and I both use the office a lot, but find ourselves just sitting on the couch with our laptop more than anything. This is because our desk chair isn’t comfortable. When we bought it, we just got the cheapest swivel chair we could find. Needless to say, it hasn’t held up very well. My husband wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas, so I asked for an executive office chair.
My husband thought an executive office chair was an odd thing to ask for. He’s used to me wanting jewelry, clothes or expensive makeup for Christmas. I told him that we really needed a desk chair update. I explained that our swivel chair was about to collapse, and that would be the best gift for me since I do like spending time in the office. I knew that I would spend more time in there if we had better furniture.
I kind of figured my husband wouldn’t bother to get me an executive chair. He kept saying he knew that wasn’t what I really wanted. I was wrong, though. I woke up on Christmas morning to find a gorgeous executive office chair with a bright red bow tied around it. I was delighted! We got rid of our old desk chair that day and replaced it with the nice, new swivel chair. It’s a good feeling to get what you want for Christmas!
