Arranging Furniture in a 16×16 Living room?
I’m having trouble arranging my furniture in a 16×16 Living Room to also have a small Dining Area. I have a Sofa, Loveseat, Coffee Table, 37″ television, Drop Leaf Dining Set, and a Buffet/Sideboard. One wall contains a 6′ window, and the back of the Living Room opens right up into the kitchen. Any suggestions on arrangements that could work? Your west wall is open. The east wall has the window & door on it. So, on your north wall, place your sideboard at the west edge of the wall. Place 2 buffet lamps on it & a mirror over it. To the right of that will be your drop leaf table. Over the table place a pair of pictures side by side. Next to that you will corner your TV & Tv stand. On the window wall, place a small swivel barrel chair (check out Value City). On the south wall will be your sofa (place one large picture over your sofa or floating shelves) & end tables with lamps, then you will take your loveseat & “L” it with the sofa so that the loveseat creates a separation between the kitchen.
