How can I find out about a card table that i have? It is from the early 1800′s.?
this table is rosewood i think. It has a swivel top that folds open to reveal a playing surface. It has brass rollers concealed in an all wood screw on feet. even the screw part is steel and if you look in the screw hole it is threaded wood.I have found one similar to it on the net but mine is slightly different.A little more detail and rather than a hexagon pillar mine has a round pillar. The one on the net says 1830′s rosewood regency/William IV period. Am looking to sell this item but need more info.any thing would help.
you can probably take it back to the store where you brought it from or you can take it to a pawnshop/an old store that sells antique from the the early 1800′s
