How do you get rid of stains on pine wood?
I left a pack of peaches on my pine welsh dresser and they went soft. I have a big red stain there any ideas how I get rid of it?
Another way to remove stain discolorations from wood is through the use of a bleaching agent. Similar to removing a stain from fabric, bleaching agents may be used to lighten and remove stains from wood. You may find the Wood Bleaching Kits at your local paint/hardware store. Suggest using a Two-part bleach or A/B bleach. Please test bleaching agent on sample piece of wood to determine how light the wood can be bleached. You may find a combination of sanding and bleaching may be required.
