I need some color ideas for my burnt-orange loft bedroom?
My room is a burnt-orange color and i have a loft bed.
the metal one from IKEA with the desk underneath, by the way.
and i need some color schemes for the bedding, curtains and such.
i’m going for the whole vintage-indie-ish theme going on like an antique dresser and nightstand that i have already. any ideas for the fabrics?
Try an Indian sari (hope that’s how it’s spelled…it’s one of those brightly colored oversized scarves). Throw them on night stands, dresser, chairs…anywhere. If you can’t find them to buy, go to the fabric store and find some colorful fabric in silky material like they’re made out of. I think the burnt orange sounds fantastic! With that, I think of a Bohemian look, anything bright and colorful (yellow, gold, bright green, bright blue or think of colors of fall (brown, gold, red (in small doses) and green). Hope this helps a little.
