Time Is Limited So Make The Most Of What You Have
We only have this limited period of time on this planet so we should strive to do as much as we can with what we get. Each day has 24 hourly parts so try to enjoy every one of them. We only have three hundred and sixty-five days each year so we should try to enjoy every one of them. None of us knows how many years we have left but it would be a shame not to enjoy these best and only years of our lives.
There is a limit to how much time you are alloted in your life. You can make more money, you can have more relationships but you cannot make a moment of extra time beyond your lifespan. You can’t hold back time so life moves on and Time Waits For No Man. The llimits to what you can achieve are more about lack of time than they are about money.
When I thought about the total number of minutes I might have left I knew I should try to enjoy each one more while I stll can. The phrase time management is a term we associate with business efficiancy but we can all learn time management skills and use the techniques in our daily lives to achieve more or what we want from life.
Some dreams will always be dreams but we all want to achieve things. Spend more of your time enjoying life with your family or more time travelling the world. Anything you enjoy doing will be easier if you can free up more of your time and that should help you enjoy your life more.
Understanding what tasks used up all your time allows you to plan a better way to use your time in the future. Detailed records are not important but knowing where all the time went helps to plan for a better organized day tomorrow.
The achievements or lack of them this week may be something you think about in years to come. How many of us will see that we have wasted many hours watching TV that really was a waste of time? You could have spent the time with your partner enjoying a night out or playing with your kids?
Very few people could honestly say they don’t waste some time each day. We do things simply to pass the time of day. What a waste that is. Those hours and minutes will never return. Spend a few moments every day thinking about your personal time management and decide if what you are doing is what you really want to do. If you are not getting as much out of life as you would like plan your day to allow you to do more of what you enjoy.
