How to repair my table leg that the dog chewed?
I asked this in another section but no answers. My dog chewed off a section of my pedestal dining table. It is a cherry color. The area she chewed is approx. 4 inches in diameter and it is rough. There is a definite ridge/crater where she chewed. I could stain and seal it but the ridge would be noticeable. How do I go about filling in this ridge? How do I repair this? Thanks so much for all suggestions.
You have two options.
1. Wood Filler. Apply the filler and stain or paint it when it is dry.
2. Make or buy a new leg. You can contact the company of the table directly (contact info will be on website.).
If you can not make or buy a new one, use the filler, otherwise your best bet is a new leg.
