Should I sell my mothers antiques on e-bay for her, or go to my local consignment shop in small pioneer town?
I’m selling large things like a tiger oak piano, antique stove, secretary desk, chifforobe, Hoosier cabinet, brass bed, double sided wash station, basically nothing easy to carry or ship.
First get them appraised by a antique dealer who perferably works in a antique auction house and then sell them on e-bay. But first if you want to make sure you are getting a good deal once you get these items appraised is see what the local consignment shop will give you if anything. They do take a proceeds of the sale of the item because they are doing the work of selling these items for you.
