What color should I paint my kitchen for a dramatic look against golden oak woodwork & cabinets?
My kitchen is huge and loaded with golden oak cabinets & trim everywhere; there is a sliding door, lots of 6′ windows, a neutral tiled backsplash & floor and neutral corian countertops with specks of beige, white & black. There are no window treatments to match, as my views are all forestal. The current theme is a tuscany look and the walls (which I hate) are a pale greyish green. I would like to stay with the Tuscany look, however, I need to paint these walls and make them a little more lively; I do not want them clashing w/the cabinets or woodwork. I should also mention that it’s an open floor plan, flowing into a dark burgundy colored dining room & a pale army green & taupe family room. Any suggestions?
