How to make an ottoman/footstool that looks like this?
I need material ideas and suggestions on how to make an ottoman/footstool base that looks like a mushroom. I thought of using foam boards but then I wasn’t sure how supportive of legs and feet that would be.

It would also be good if the materials were under $50 because I will be covering it, it just has to be stable.
You would have to have the dimensions of the top and the bottom circles of the bottom support. When you have this you would cut out to wood so that it would match and make the circle that would be a very good support for the top. The top circle can be cut out and all you would have to get is a 4′ X 8′ ply wood. The circle can be made by putting a nail in the middle or the area you want the top to be and get a string and tie a marker at the other end of the string connected to the nail and you should have your circle. Look around to find foam rubber to make the balloon top of the footstool. Depending on the material you want to use the price for a yard or two would depend on the material
