Is there only one way to solve a rubiks cube?
To solve a cube, no matter what position the colours are in, do you have to get them into a certain set position and go from there?
Or is there more than one way to solve a cube?
Coz online help usually says “get your cube looking like this with this square here and this square here etc etc” and then once your cube is set up how they tell you to, they give you step by step moves on how to solve it.
I was just wondering if that meant it is the ONLY way you can solve a cube?
no, there are different methods for solving the cube, and when they tell you to “set up”, it’s really just another step in the solving process. usually the first ones you find online are beginner methods, and if you want to get faster, you could learn the fridich method. this website is good for learning how to solve the cube:
