my house has a very rough oak panelling in the LR and kitchen….?
we painted the kitchen with a white paint which soaked right in ; that is fine in there because I decorated it in a very country farmhouse way but i want my LR to be streamlined and sophisticated what can we do short of tearing out the walls, I would like wallpaper but it just will not stick.
The easiest solution is to hang drywall (sheetrock) over the paneling. Then you can do whatever you want with your walls.
