Looking for a new bed?
I am in the process of refurbishing the ‘blue bedroom’, a room I use for guests, that is located in the west wing of the manor.
The four poster in there is riddled with woodworm so I have no choice but to dispose of it. I intend donating it to the village bonfire for the November 5th festivities (along with Grimthorpe, my elderly gardener).
I have now to purchase a new bed and need something classical and well-made, preferably carved by the likes Chippendale, Addison or Butler.
It has been suggested I visit an exclusive little store called ‘High- Key Her’. I believe they produce an selective line in furniture and may well have exactly what I need.
Any thoughts?
