Culture of Coffee around the World
So the Coffee has been an essential part of our day. Then the coffee is a popular drink of all the age groups and it is all time favorite of most of the people. Today, the different coffee houses are increasing the coffee culture. The important coffee houses includes the Blue mountain coffee which is also called as the Jamaican coffee. The Different coffee houses around the block are the meeting points and a place to share the latest gossip with your friends.
The Coffee culture is basically used as a social place, enclosed with an ambiance of coffee all around it. Due to the popularity across the globe, there are many different thoughts and rituals everywhere. In Asia, the people generally like to have a lighter and sweeter coffee as compared to the other western countries.
The Coffee houses are usually the places of social gatherings. The most preferred is the Blue mountain and next comes the cappuccino. The coffee in USA is different from the others. They serve the blue coffee in a stylish manner. Generally in Europe, the coffee is served at parties with homemade cakes, pastries and cookies. The Coffee in Turkey becomes slightly different. The beans are boiled approximately three times in the water and then placed in a long handle brass pot. Sometimes, the cardamom or sugar is also added. The French people usually drink coffee in the early mornings and the Germans drink only at the social gatherings.
There are religious boundaries associated with coffee as well. The culture of each country suits to coffee too. Each religions have their own different customs about coffee. In Islam, the coffee is prohibited only at the time of fasting. The fast usually lasts from the dawn to dusk. The Coffee is a prohibited drink among Mormons. Then the Latter-Day Saints prohibits coffee because they think that its blocks their spiritual connections.
According to the Seventh Day Adventist culture, the views about coffee are somewhat different. In the early years, they prohibited it to emphasize their healthy diet. But now, they prohibit it because of the large amount of caffeine content.
In Judaism, there are actually no issues with coffee. They believe that the flavored coffee use different types of flavorings, flavored beans and syrups which do not answer all their issues. The same goes with decaffeinated coffee as it contains more amount of ethyl acetate.
Thus the coffee is related with the living culture of the people!
