is it possible to mix mid-century modern furniture and hollywood regency furniture?
i can’t seem to find any images to reference. i live in a condo where the living room and dining area are not separated. here are the pieces i have to work with: a black leather modern sofa, a square leather chair, a bertoia, slat bench, barcelona chair and ottoman, black leather dining chairs from DWR ( i believe they are called Allegro) , west elm dining table is a medium oak wood. i love the hollywood regency look but can’t afford to completely start over. i need a coffee table, lamps, rugs ( i like the zebra cow skin) , something to put the tv on, side tables, wall decor etc. i am considering the glass table with silver base from cb2. obviously i need accent colors as well. i like the mirrored tables, the faux white deer heads, and the baroque looking mirrors. I’m just not certain it will all look right together. i have hardwood floors and the walls are a darker neutral, sort of tan i guess you would call it. So, any design advice would be greatly appreciated!
