how can i make high wasted denim shorts?
Is it possible if I made shorts out of jeans and made them high wasted (above belly button)? even if they’re originally not? like out of a bigger size? and i’d like them to be vintagy and kind of like the 80s.

You can totally make a pair of high waisted cut offs from denim that isnt originally high waisted.
I took a pair of my dads jeans that he didnt wear anymore and cut the legs off. They fit perfect, the rise is just above my belly button. Preferably guys jeans work, because the rise on them is naturally higher than with womens jeans. Good luck.
